When is garbage and recycling pick-up?
Garbage pick-up is Monday and Friday mornings. Pick-up starts at 4:00 a.m. so please place your garbage out the night before. Recycling – please see schedule listed in the services page, under Sanitation or click here.
When is driver's license office at City Hall?
The state has decided that the Driver's License will no longer be coming to Bellevue. Please call the Jackson County Court House at (563) 652-2617 or the Dubuque Driver's License Station at (563) 583-9844 to make an appointment or go online at https://mymvd.iowadot.gov/account/login
When are regular City Council meetings?
Regular council meetings are held the first Monday and the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 106 N. Third Street. They are broadcast on the City’s Local Access - Channel 40.
How do I reserve the pavilion at Cole Park?
Cole Park pavilion may be reserved by contacting the City Clerk’s office at 563-872-4456. Rental fee is $25.00. Reservations will only be made for the current year – reservations for the following year can be made after January 1st of the new year. For availability, please take a look at the calendar located on the home page or click here and use the drop down menu on the upper right hand side of the calendar to see the Cole Park Pavilion calendar.
How do I reserve the Community Center?
Reservations may made be contacting the City Clerk’s office at 563-872-4456. Rental fee is $125.00 with a deposit of $100.00 due when key is picked up. Reservations will only be made for the current year – reservations for the following year can be made after January 1st of the new year. Do you offer automatic withdrawal for utility bills?
Utility bills may be automatically debited from your savings or checking account by filling out a form at the City Clerk’s office. The bill will be taken out of your account on the due date each month. We also have the option to pay online or via credit/debit card. If you like to pay online, please click here.
How do I apply for a building permit?
An application for construction must be filed at the City Clerk’s office and approved by our Zoning Permit Officer. Application forms may be picked up at the City Clerk’s office or click here to download the form.
